St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Women's League Parish Council was founded in 1956, with Mary Matthews as a founding member. It is a sisterhood of mutual support and understanding.

The Catholic Women’s League of Canada calls its members to grow in Faith and to witness to the Love of God through Ministry and Service.

Faith, Service and Social Justice are the three pillars of the League.

At St Edward the Confessor Church, the women meet each month, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. We begin our General meeting with the first 30 minutes dedicated to mass or a prayer service. The invitation is ongoing to all women of the parish to join the CWL and gain the benefits of belonging to the largest organization of Catholic Women in Canada.

The CWL meeting schedule is posted on the CWL website, CWL board and the parish bulletin.

If you have any questions, please email: Monica Figueredo, CWL president at stedwardcwl@gmail.com.
