Tiny Shroud Ministry

The Tiny Shroud is a group that was founded under Father Pat in the University of Toronto which has since branched out to many parishes. St. Edward is pleased to host a branch of this wonderful organization. The Tiny Shroud seeks to create blankets or shrouds and bonnets which are donated to hospitals to wrap stillborn babies and babies who pass away soon after birth.

Any assistance is welcome, whether you knit yourself or simply donate materials for knitting. If you would like to knit, you are welcome to do so from the quiet of your own home (knitting patterns will be provided) or you can knit with others. If you would like to donate, the ministry is in constant need of wool, knitting needles, ribbons and neutral-coloured baby fabrics.
